The frog model was modeled in Maya. UVs were unwrapped and placed on different multi-tiles, this was done in Maya as well. Then the model was exported to zbrush so that displacement goodness can be added. Next the model was then exported to Mari where textures were created. For the skin shader, MIA material X was used in conjunction with misss_fast_skin_maya. Different texture maps were generated, they were the diffuse, sub-dermal, bump, specular and a 32 bit displacement map.
Instead of using a back plate image in this project, it was decided that a 3d environment will be used instead. All of the environment assets were modeled in Maya and textured in Mari.
MentalRay was used as the main renderer for this project. Final composition was done in Photoshop.
